HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS (October 3, 2009) – Rollins shot 300 in the second round and dropped to fourth heading into Sunday’s final round of the Mission Inn Fall Intercollegiate.
The Tars have turned in rounds of 291-300 and are 18 strokes out of first with a 591. Florida Gulf Coast leads the way (573) while Appalachian State and St. John’s are tied for second.
Jordan Lewis shot a four over par 75 Saturday after an opening round 69 and is tied for fifth with 144 strokes. J.D. Guiney turned in a solid 73 to sit tied for 13th with 147 strokes. Colin Dolph is tied for 20th with 150 strokes (74-76), Fatehbir Dhaliwal is sits tied for 25th with a score of 151 (75-76) and Hunter Stone is tied for 29th (74-78-158).
The Tars will play the final round of the Mission Inn Fall Intercollegiate on Sunday, October 4.
