INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (April 25, 2017) – Rollins men's tennis team has been named the sixth seed in the NCAA Tournament South Region II Bracket, it was announced Tuesday.  The Tars will take on the third-seeded Valdosta State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.  The berth marks the Tars' tenth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 11 seasons.  All games in the South Region II Bracket will be played on the campus of Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.

Rollins is 11-11 on the year, and are currently ranked No. 28 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.  Senior captain Patrick Sell leads the Tars, and recently broke into the south region singles rankings, coming in at No. 20.  Sell and partner Sami Kirberg are ranked No. 9 in the south region doubles poll.

The Blazers are 15-5 on the season and finished runner-up in the Gulf South Conference. VSU is ranked No. 7 in the lates ITA National Ranking and boasts two players ranked in the top-20 in singles and the nation's 12th-ranked doubles team.

Joining Rollins and VSU in he bracket are the host team, second seeded, Barry, and their opponent, seventh-seeded North Alabama.
