WINTER PARK, FLA (March 31, 2016) – The Rollins College Men’s Rowing team will travel to Sarasota, Fla this weekend for the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships. The men are set to compete in five events over the two-day regatta.

The first event for the men is the Varsity 8 on Saturday morning. The Tars are ranked in the second slot, just behind Georgia Tech. The men’s V8 is looking to continue their winning streak against Florida, Central Florida, and Embry-Riddle.

The second event for Rollins is the pair race. Reese Gallup and Michael Dennis are looking to hold their lead against Stetson, University of South Florida, Georgia Tech and Embry-Riddle.

Next up is the Junior Varsity 4, where Rollins is up against Georgia Tech, Embry-Riddle, and Central Florida. The Tars will compete in a dual race with Georgia Tech in the Varsity 4 “B”.

The last event for the men is the Varsity 4. Rollins is ranked again in the second slot, and is up against No. 1 Georgia Tech, No. 3 Florida, No. 4 Central Florida, Embry- Riddle, Stetson, and University of South Florida.
