WINTER PARK, FLA (April 11, 2016) – “Those who stay will be champions”. The quote is posted onto the boathouse wall, and serves as an exit sign for each athlete to hit as they leave the building. You hit the sign, keep the motto in your mind, and perform to the best of your ability on the water.

For the three seniors, Reese Gallup, David Ravery, and Ian Seddon, this statement has shown to be true time and time again. Under the leadership of this trio, the Tars have earned two gold medals at the Dad Vails Regatta held in Philadelphia, four state championship titles, two consecutive titles at the John Hunter Regatta, a gold medal at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships, and a gold medal at the Knecht Cup held in Mercer, NJ. These three have contributed not only to the victories on the water, but have also contributed to the teams spirit and sportsmanship.

The trio looks to earn a medal again at the SIRA Championships this upcoming weekend in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
