TITUSVILLE, Fla. (September 30, 2016) – Rollins men’s and women’s cross country team were in action Friday night at the FLrunners.com Invitational in Titusville.

The Rollins women finished 10th at the meet while the men came in fifth.

Charlotte Simmons led the Tars women, coming in 56th in a time of 24:49 over the 5K course. Amy Martin was 65th in 25:55 and Aby Wong 69th in 27:02.

Rollins Class of 2013 Valedictorian and cross country alum Justine Falcone ran with her Florida Running Club was among the race leaders, finishing third in 19:57.

For the men, Hayden Rodrigue paced the Tars, coming in 27th in a time of 18:45. Jack Williams picked up a 43rd place finish in 20:08 and Jonathon Tyler took 47th in 20:32.

The Tars men also had alumni running in the race; Emmett Horvath came in 24th in 18:31 and Dan Mazur took 42nd in 20:03.

Rollins varsity cross country will be back in action Oct. 14 at the USF Invitational in Tampa.
