2011: Started all
19 games as a key member of a Tars defense that ranked best in the country in
shutout percentage (%74)...logged a total of 1691 minutes, including playing at
least 90 minutes 14 different times...finished her junior season with one goal
and two assists...was named to the Daktronics All-Region and All-SSC first teams.
2010: Started and played in all 17 games in her first season
with the Tars... saw a total of 1603 minutes on the pitch... was a solid member
of the back line that held opponents to just 15 goals, 12 assists, and 42
points on the season...named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's
Honor Roll and twice on the Rollins Athletic Directors Honor Roll.
Previous: Played in 10 games, starting two for the Murray State...
was an important part of the back line for the Racers, helping the team allow
only 31 goals, and secure a save percentage of .756 while racking-up seven
shutouts... helped the Racers to an Ohio Valley Conference championship, as
well as earn a bid to the NCAA Division I tournament.
High School: Cox played for the Chelsea FC Academy in London, England
and was a member of the Watford Ladies FC in the Premier Women's League...
earned Hertfordshire and Surrey County First Team honors... won the
Performance Player of the Year award at the Watford Center of Excellence...
was named Chelsea Academy First Team... was also a member of the
Academy League champion Chelsea U19 team in 2007.
