Fresh off a series win over Saint Leo, which included walk-off hits in a doubleheader sweep, Rollins continues its homestand with four games at Alfond Stadium this week. The Tars host Flagler in nonconference action on Tuesday and then welcome Barry for a three-game Sunshine State Conference series before the Easter weekend.
For the second-straight game, Rollins jumped out to a big lead and again came out on top, beating 23rd-ranked Nova Southeastern 10-6 Saturday afternoon. The win clinches the series for the Tars (18-10, 6-5 Sunshine State Conference) and sets up a chance for a sweep on Sunday.
Rollins split a Sunshine State Conference doubleheader with Eckerd Saturday and earned the series win. The Tars dropped the first game 10-4 and bounced back in the second, winning 7-6 in walk-off fashion.
Rollins (9-6, 1-2 SSC) dug out of an early 3-0 hole to tie the score 5-5 in the seventh. Lynn (10-6, 3-3 SSC) got the go ahead run in its half of the seventh and kept the Tars at bay the final three frames.
