Enck struck out seven and allowed just one hit and one walk in seven innings of action. The senior didn't allow a runner past first base and ended his night retiring 17-straight. Anthony Trovoto threw the final two innings, scattering two hits with three strikeouts and no walks.
Jake Conroy took the loss for L-R, allowing two runs on two hits with three strikeouts and a walk in five innings. Alex Reynolds, Caleb Beatty and Will Jones each had hits for the Bears.
Rollins got on the board in the fourth after Gonzalez was plunked and Herron smashed a 3-2 pitch well over 420 feet, clearing the center field wall.
The Tars loaded the bases in the sixth after Ortiz was hit by a pitch, Gonzalez singled and Herron drew a walk. Hintz was then hit in the left foot and earned the RBI to give Rollins a 3-0 lead. Cameron Meehan brought Gonzalez in with a RBI ground out to second.
Hintz then gave the Tars some insurance in the eighth, batting in Gonzalez with an RBI single to right.
