Set-up: The Tars set to host SSC opponent Nova Southeastern for a three game home series here in Winter Park, Fla. Rollins is 13-3 at Alfond Stadium and 2-1 in conference home games. Last week the Tars hosted Eckerd and split the series 2-1. The Tars won the first game 1-0 in the bottom of the 13th inning and 7-6 in the final game against the Tritons. The Sharks are 9-6 against Sunshine State Conference games in 2019, taking a loss in their mid-week game against No. 20 Barry 8-7 on the road.

Tracking the Tars: Rollins split the series against Eckerd last weekend 2-1. Rollins is averaging six runs per game. Jack Gonzalez leads the Tars at the plate hitting .343 with 13 RBIs and two home runs. Sam LaFontaine is .290 at the plate with 20 RBIs and two home-runs. Cameron Meehan leads the Tars in RBIs with 26 and has a .286 average.

Cameron Enck has pitched in 48.2 innings and has a 2.40 ERA to lead the Tars. He also has 36 strikeouts to just 14 walks. Jimmy Robbins leads the Tars in strikeouts with 54.

Tracking the Sharks: Nova Southeastern just came off of a mid- week game against No. 20 Barry away losing 8-7. The Sharks are on a two game losing streak and is 7-8 on road games. Andrew Labosky is leading the Sharks with a .375 batting average and one homerun, seven RBIs, and three doubles. Garrett Wolforth has a .304 average and lead in RBIs with 30. He also has eight doubles, four triples, and seven home-runs.

Pitcher Anthony Difede with a 0.90 ERA with 10 game appearances and pitching in 10 innings. He has six strikeouts. Nathan Campbell is 5-1 on the year with a 3.36 ERA and team best 33 strikeouts. Devon Meyer is 4-2 with a 1.48 ERA.


· Rollins is 36-23 all time against the Sharks.

· Nova Southeastern swept the series last year (11-1,5-2,3-0)

· Kyle Hintz is first in the SSC for hit by pitcher with 13.

· Rollins hits .273 as a team; Nova Southeastern hits .277

· Whit Drennan leads the SSC in opposing batting average (1.67).

· Jimmy Robbins is second in the SSC in strikeouts (54); Garrett is 6th (47).
