Set-up: Rollins is on the road to Lakeland for a three game series against the Florida Southern Mocs. The Tars are coming off a series win against Nova Southeastern at Alfond Stadium last weekend, winning the first two games against the Sharks (5-4, 10-6). Rollins is 3-7 on the road and the Mocs are 7-8 at home. The Mocs are coming off a win against Embry-Riddle beating the eagles in the final game in the series 8-3. FSC is at the bottom of the SSC standings while Rollins is sixth.
Tracking the Tars: Rollins won the series against Nova Southeastern last weekend 2-1; the fifth time in eight series this year. Rollins is averaging five runs per game and allowing four a night. Jack Gonzalez leads the Tars at the plate hitting .339 with 15 RBIs and three home runs. Luke Reidy hits .293 one home run and 10 RBIs. Cameron Meehan leads the Tars in RBIs with 32 and has a .293 average. He also has four homeruns, six doubles and four triples.
Cameron Enck has pitched in 52.4 innings and has a 2.63 ERA to lead the Tars. He also has 42 strikeouts to just 16 walks. Jimmy Robbins leads the Tars in strikeouts with 60. As a staff, the Tars are second in the SSC in ERA (3.73) and Strikeouts (285).
Tracking the Mocs: Florida Southern dropped a three game series against Eckerd winning their final game 8-3. The Mocs are 4-8 in the Sunshine State Conference in the 2019 season and 7-8 at home. Collin Camangg is .382 at the plate with four doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs. Jacob Teter is .363 batting average with three doubles, six home runs and 41 RBIs.
Pitcher Leo Rodriguez leads the Mocs with a 0.00 ERA in 14.1 innings pitched with 23 strikeouts in 11 appearances. Cooper Bradford leads Florida Southern in strikeouts with 54 on the season and carries a 5.25 ERA.
