Back on the court after a week off from its last competition, Rollins plays the second of a six-game homestand against visiting Southeastern on Monday at 7 p.m. The Tars have outscored teams by an average of 10 a game this season and are holding opponents to 42 percent shooting from the field. Head coach Tom Klusman continues to inch closer to his next milestone with 696 career victories. Southeastern is ranked No. 11 in the NAIA preseason poll and is coming off a big rivalry win over 19th-ranked Warner on Saturday. Rollins will meet the Royals in early December. The SEU Fire are averaging 93 points a game coming into Winter Park.

Tracking the Tars:
Rollins has battled through a rash of early season injuries and spreads out the scoring with six players averaging better than seven points a game. Jakobi Bonner leads the way with 21.7 points and nine rebounds a night. He is coming off a huge game against Ave Maria, putting up 20 points and 10 rebounds; his second double-double of the season. Sheldon Odunna posted a career best 13 points off the bench while Connor Mckim netted 11. Mckim averages 13.3 points and 4.3 assists a game. Daniel Loh adds 11.3 points and 6.3 rebounds a game. Rollins has the Sunshine State Conference's fourth-best offense with 80.7 points a game and is fifth in defense, allowing 70.3 points a night. The Tars are also outrebounding teams by nine a game. 

Tracking the Fire:
Historically one of the top teams in NAIA, Southeastern visit Winter Park on a three-game winning streak to start the season. The Fire scored a forfeit over Regent, 100-93 win over Webber and thrilling 86-81 victory over 19th-ranked Warner on Saturday night. Josiah Barsh poured in 23 points to lead the way while Ismael Celestin added 17. SEU shot 50 percent from the field in the game, but were outrebounded 41-30. Barsh is scoring 28 points a game while shooting 54 percent from beyond the arc this season. Dylan Causwell is getting 18.5 a game, including a 27-point night against Webber International, and leads the team with 9.5 rebounds a game. The Fire average 93 points a game and are allowing 87 a night. 


  • Rollins leads the all-time series with Southeastern 8-0, all in Winter Park. The Tars won a shootout last season, 94-91. Sam Philpott led the way with 22 points, Jeff Merton netted 20 and Conor Mckim scored 18.    
  • Head coach Tom Klusman is the 10th-winningest coach in Division II history and begins his 39th year leading his alma mater, looking to continue an era of success nearly unmatched in collegiate basketball. He comes into the season with a career record of 696-407 and is the fifth-winningest active coach in Division II. He trails Tampa's Richard Schmidt by one victory for the most in Sunshine State Conference history. Among all divisions, all-time, Klusman ranks 43rd in wins.
