LAKELAND, Fla. (February 11, 2019) – Rollins men's golf opened its spring season Monday, grabbing 13th after the first two rounds of the Matlock Collegiate Classic. 

The 18th-ranked Tars turned in scores of 296-308 on the day and are 28-over for the tournament. 

Lynn leads the way at nine-under (284-283) while West Florida and Barry are both one-over and tied for second. 

Morgan Egloff leads the way for the Tars, shooting rounds of 72-74 and tying for 17th. Will Hall shot an opening 72, highlighted with an eagle on the par-4 seventh, followed by a 79 and is tied for 49th with 152 strokes. 

Trystan Perkins turned in scores of 78-76 and is tied for 54th (154) while Justin Karlins is a stroke back in a tie for 60th after scores of 74-81. Mason Fox is tied for 64th with 156 strokes (77-79). 

Rollins will play the final round of the Florida Southern hosted tournament at Lone Palm Golf Club on Tuesday, February 12. Fans can follow with live scoring at GolfStat.com.
