EATONTON, Georgia (March 19, 2019) – Morgan Egloff fired a two-under 68 on Tuesday and vaulted 10 spots to the top of the leaderboard, winning the Georgia College Bobcat Invitational by two strokes.

The junior led Rollins to a fourth place finish as the Tars tied for the best score of the final day. After posting rounds of 291-282 on Monday, Rollins shot a 17-over 297 on Tuesday and jumped three spots on the team standings. Second-ranked Lynn won the event (+14), followed by fourth-ranked Florida Southern (+23) and top-ranked Barry (+24) just ahead of the Tars.

Rollins beat five other schools ranked in the GCAA Division II top-25, including third-ranked West Florida, ninth-ranked Nova Southeastern and 12th-ranked Saint Leo.

Egloff was spectacular in the final round as the only player in the field of 81 to break par on Tuesday. His two-under 68 followed rounds of 73-67 on Monday. The win is a second of the season for Egloff and fourth top-10 finish in six events. The Maryland native was also medalist at the TVA Credit Union Invitational and runner-up at last week's Southeastern Collegiate.

Trystan Perkins also had a big weekend, finishing tied for 11th. The junior closed with an even par-70 on Tuesday after scores of 70-75 on Monday. He jumped 23 spots on the leaderboard over the final day, posting a five-over 215.
