MELBOURNE, Fla. (March 25, 2019) – Rollins junior Morgan Egloff was named the Sunshine State Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, it was announced Monday.
The Chevy Chase, Maryland native is coming off a big win at the Georgia College Bobcat Invitational. Egloff posted a two-under 208 in one of the country's toughest fields. He shot rounds of 73-67-68 and was two-shots better than runners-up Jorge Garcia of Barry, who is the top-ranked player in the nation according to GolfStat, and Lynn's Giovani Manzoni.
The win was a second of the year as Egloff was also medalist at the TVA Credit Union Invitational in the fall.
Egloff is ranked 11th in the nation with a 71.60 adjusted scoring average over the Tars six events. Along with his two wins, Egloff has three top-five finishes and four top-10 finishes.
Rollins will be back on the course April 14-16 at the Sunshine State Conference Championship, hosted at Lake Jovita Golf Club.
