Tars Return to National Poll, Check In at No. 20

Rollins Sits at No. 20 on USILA Poll, Receives Votes on US Lacrosse Top 20

WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 8, 2019) – After winning back-to-back games over Sunshine State Conference opponents last week, including an upset over then No. 14 Saint Leo, the Rollins men's lacrosse team checks in at No. 20 this week on the USILA/Warrior and New Balance Division II Coaches Poll, organization officials announced, Monday.

This marks the second time this season the Tars have been ranked on the USILA standings, and the ninth straight week they have earned recognition with votes on the poll.

Adelphi claims the No. 1 spot, followed by Limestone at No. 2, and Mercy in third.  Merrimakc and LIU Post round out the top five in that order.  Sunshine State Conference member Tampa, who the Tars face later this week, earn the nod at No. 16, while Saint Leo, Lynn, Florida Southern, and Florida Tech all receive votes on this week's poll.

On the NIKE/US Lacrosse DII Top 20, the Tars received votes for the ninth week this season, while Tampa checked in at No. 16.  Lynn also makes an appearance on the US Lacrosse Top 20, while Florida Southern, Florida Tech, and Saint Leo earn votes.
