Rollins used a late second half goal to slide past PBA in regulation on Tuesday night, defeating the Sailfish, 2-1, on senior night.
Before the game, the Tars honored the careers of six seniors: Tomas Coulter, Rob Crowley, Evan Greenbaum, Gareth Partridge, Skyler Russell and Sebastian Walker.
With the win, Rollins has now won six in a row to improve to 10-4-1 on the year while PBA falls to 6-6-3.
The Sailfish did outshoot the Tars, 11-9, but were whistled for 15 fouls compared to Rollins' nine.
Grant Blackhurst and Alexis Martinez both scored in the victory, with Russell, Crowley and Tosan Popo all recording assists.
In goal, Julian Grundler made two saves in his second game back from injury, playing the full 90 minutes.
Blackhurst would put the Tars on the board in the first half, redirecting a Russell corner kick past PBA keeper Steevan Raymont for his fourth goal of the season.
Rollins would hold the 1-0 lead until the Sailfish finally found the back of the net in the 76th minute. Lucas Coutinho found Cameron Roberts open inside the right side of the box and Roberts blasted a shot past Grundler to tie the score at 1-1.
Then, with under seven minutes to play, Popo sent a cross to the far post to Martinez who headed it past Raymont to give the Tars a 2-1 lead that they would never relinquish.
Rollins will now travel to Saint Leo on Saturday, Nov. 1 to close out their regular season in a non-conference match. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Live stats will be available on RollinsSports.com
