Tars Trot Back to Tie No. 19 Saint Leo

SAINT LEO, Fla. (Nov. 1, 2014) The Tars closed out their regular season schedule with a 2-2 draw against the Lions in Saint Leo, Fla. The tie moves the Lions to an overall record of 10-2-3 to conclude their regular season slate, while the Tars close out their regular season schedule with a record of 10-4-2.

Saint Leo roared out to a two goal lead early after a goal by Matthias Katerna in the 30th minute, followed by Alexander Racca's gem in the 34th minute.

Rollins closed the gap before halftime, with Brett Durrance chipping in in the 39th minute.

The majority of the second half was quiet until Rollins pulled even on Alexis Martinez's 81st minute goal.

Both teams failed to score in overtime, resulting in a 2-2 tie.

Freshman Julian Grundler was the player of the match, keeping the Tars in the game with nine saves as opposed to four saves by his counterpart Manuel Schoenhuber.
