Rollins Climbs One Spot in National Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (September 19, 2017) – Rollins climbed one spot in the NCAA Division II United Soccer Coaches National Poll, settling at No. 20, it was announced Tuesday.

Fans can see the full poll here.

The Tars are, again, one of three Sunshine State Conference teams among the top-25.  Lynn leads the way in fourth, while Palm Beach Atlantic climbed up to ninth.  Rollins sits at No. 20 with a record of 2-0-1, while Florida Tech received votes.

The Tars downed NAIA opponent Southeastern 2-1 this week, in their first action since Hurricane Irma canceled a pair of home contests.  Ben Grant netted both tallies.

Rollins now must prepare for SSC play, as they host Florida Southern on Wednesday evening, in their new 2017 home debut.  The Tars must then ready themselves for a Saturday trip south to Barry.
