KANSAS CITY, Mo. (September18, 2018) – Rollins leapt up the Untied Soccer Coaches National Poll which the organization released Tuesday. The Tars jumped seven places, from No. 21 to inside the top-15, at No. 14.

Last week the Tars closed their non-conference slate with a pair of dominating wins over Southeastern and Trinity Baptist. The Tars outscored the Fire 4-0, before besting the Eagles 5-0 to close the week.
Palm Beach Atlantic jumped into the top-5 spots, improving from No. 7 to No. 5 this week, leading all Sunshine State Conference schools. Rollins sits be3hind them at No. 14. Two new SSC institutions entered the ranks this week. The Tars' Wednesday opponent Florida Southern sits at No. 18, while Florida Tech settled at No. 24, both teams received votes last week. Barry, who will travel to Winter Park on Saturday, received votes in the poll.
Rollins will open Sunshine State Conference play on Wednesday with a trip to Lakeland for a top-20 matchup against the No. 18 Florida Southern Mocs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
