KANSAS CITY, Mo. (September 5, 2018) – The Tars 2017-18 men's soccer team earned recognition as a Scholar All-America Team, it was announced by the United Soccer Coaches. Rollins' 3.63 GPA was tied for the highest in the country among all NCAA men's soccer teams.

To be selected as a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the 2017-18 academic year. A total of 782 soccer teams (293 men, 489 women) earned the Team Academic Award for the 2017-18 academic year.
Rollins 3.63 GPA tied with Middlebury University for the highest in the country. The Tars are joined on the list by Sunshine State Conference institutions Lynn, Florida Southern, and Florida Tech.
Rollins was one of 198 schools that had both their men's and women's teams honored.
