Nationally-Ranked Mocs Too Much For Tars

LAKELAND, Fla. (November 10, 2017) – The Tars made the short trip to take on the nationally-ranked No. 7 Mocs on Friday afternoon, however they would come up short, falling to the Mocs, 166-39. 

Rollins was once again paced by freshman Alex Norcini, who was able to add valuable points for the Tars in the 500-yard freestyle. Norcini would tally a second-place finish in the event, with a time of 4:52.80. Fellow freshman Asa Marvel would also tab a second-place finish for Rollins in the 200-yard freestyle, with a time of 1:51.30. In the 50-yard freestyle event, the Tars own Paul Tobin would take third-place, recording a time of 22.57.

The Tars 400-freestyle relay team would kick things off for Rollins, taking second place and touching the wall in 3:21.12.

Rollins will now prepare for a trip to Savannah, Georgia, when they participate in the SCAD invitational. The meet is scheduled to start on Thursday, November 30.
