Winter Park, Fla. (January 5, 2018) – Rollins was able to notch their first dual meet victory of the season in a 157-105 triumph over the previously undefeated Westminster Titans.

The Tars were paced by a plethora of first and second place finishes on the afternoon. Alex Norcini and Arron Nestor were first up for the Tars, when they captured the top two spots in the 1000-Yard Freestyle. Rollins would then secure another first-place finish in the 100-yard Butterfly, with Chase Benton coming in at 55.27. He was closely followed up by teammate Asa Marvel, who touched just behind at 55.61. Paul Tobin and David Emson would register yet another one, two combo finish for the Tars in the 50-yard Freestyle, as well as the 100-yard freestyle. First place finishes by freshmen Elliot Wylie and Dan Sulkowski in the 100-yard Backstroke as well as Breaststroke, would help solidify a Tars victory.

Rollins took first place in both of the relay events. The Tars A relay would conclude the 200-yard Medley Relay with a time of 1:41.96, while also finishing the 200-yard Freestyle Relay in 1:30.25.

NEXT: Rollins will jump back into SSC action when they travel to Saint Leo. The meet is scheduled for Saturday, January 20th at 11 a.m.
