WINTER PARK, Fla. (October 13, 2018) – Alex Norcini and Christian Huber both picked up individual wins, but Tampa's depth proved to be too much as the Tars fell to UT 181-81 Saturday in both team's season openers.

Norcini, a four-event national qualifier a year ago, picked up right where he left off and won the 200-yard butterfly in 1:57.59 and the 500-yard freestyle in 4:45.04.

Freshman Christian Huber had a big debut for the Tars, winning the 50-yard freestyle in 21.67 and finishing runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.12. He later teamed with Dan Sulkowski, Brady Spear and Paul Tobin to win the 200-yard freestyle relay, stopping the clock at 1:27.53.

Luggi Reno picked up a second place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:13.83 while Asa Marvel in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.34) and Chase Benton in the 100-yard butterfly (54.26) earned third place finishes.

Rollins hosts a busy weekend Oct. 19-20, welcoming Florida Southern for a 4 p.m. start on Friday, Oct. 19 and Keiser for an 11 a.m. affair on Saturday, Oct. 20.
