Tars To Face Two Conference Matchups

MATCHUPS: Rollins vs Saint Leo | Rollins vs. Nova Southeastern & Lynn

SET-UP: The Tars men's swim team will have back to back competitions this weekend hosting Saint Leo and traveling to nationally ranked No. 3 Nova Southeastern to face the Sharks and No. 15 Lynn.

: The Tars look to get a victory in the pool this weekend hosting Saint Leo on Friday. Alex Norcini has four induvial wins this season in the two in the 200 free, 500 free and the 400 free. Dan Sulkowski has won an individual event, the 100-yard butterfly and has also swam a leg to help win the 200-free relay. Christian Huber has also been on his game this season winning the 50 free, and also swam a leg in the 200-free relay. He also got second in the 100-yard butterfly.

SAINT LEO: The No. 14 Saint Leo men's swimming team won 13 of 14 events the last time out in the pool as they knocked off No. 7 Florida Southern 163.50 to 98.50. Freshman Hampus Lovinge continued his impressive rookie campaign as he won three individual events. Hampus led off by winning 200 medley relay. Lovinge joined forces with junior Henrik Dahrendorff freshman Matthew Daniel and junior Michael Southward to win the opening 200 medley relay. Lovinge went on to win the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and the 200 individual medley. The Lions also face a win over Florida Tech this year.

NOVA SOUTHEASTERN: In the previous competition for the Sharks Bernardo Abascal completed the 1000 and 500 freestyle sweep for NSU, grabbing first in both. Alessandro Xella topped his competition in the 200 fly and also in the 400 IM. Dawson, Poulsen, Yanello and Hemminghyth grabbed second in the 400 free relay. Overall, the men had five first place finishes.

NEXT: Rollins takes a break but will be back on Friday November 16th traveling to Florida Tech for the Panther Invitational.
