Lions Slip Past Tars in the Pool

WINTER PARK, Fla. (October 26, 2018) - It was a good start to a busy weekend for the Tars, as Rollins welcomed No. 17 Saint Leo to the Alfond Pool on Friday evening. The Tars ultimately fall 164.5-97.5.

Alex Norcini recorded three third place finished on the day in the 500-yard freestyle (4:50.51), swimming a leg in the 200-medley relay (1:38.00) and also swimming a leg in the 200 freestyle relay (1:29.69).

Dan Sulkowski finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:00.86. Joe Dutton had a third place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:23.52). Asa Marvel added a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle hitting the wall at (1:47.33). 

Christian Huber and Chase Benton tied for second place in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of (23.75). The duo also swam on the 200 medley relay to finish third in (1:38.00)

Elliot Wylie finished third in the 100 backstroke in (56:09).

Rollins is back in action Saturday, October 27 traveling to Nova Southeastern at 12 p.m.
