Rollins Drops SSC Dual at NSU

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (October 27, 2018) – With a quick turnaround after hosting Saint Leo on Friday night, Rollins traveled to Fort Lauderdale Fla. to meet Nova Southeastern in an SSC dual. The Tars put it all out there in the pool, but came up short 182-75.

Alex Norcini brought home one second place finish in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:01.44. Teammate Luiggi Reno finished behind in third place in (2:07.09). Norcini added a third-place finish in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:03.67, and fourth place finish in the 100 backstroke in 56.32.

Christian Huber finished second in the 50 freestyle, sprinting to the wall in 21.51. In the 100-yard butterfly, Asa Marvel finished second (53.93) and Chase Benton took third (54.13). Then the trio went on to join Brady Spear to win the 400-yard free relay, getting to the wall in 3:15.31.

Kyle Major picked up a second-place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:57.28 while Luke Waite was third place (5:04.15).

Rollins takes a break but will be back on Friday November 16th traveling to Florida Tech for the Panther Invitational.
