SAVANNAH, Ga. (December 1, 2018) – Rollins closed the three-day SCAD Invitational and fall semester competition on Saturday, taking fifth of 12 teams.
Rollins totaled 292 points at the event, won by Wingate (994). Keiser was second with 732 points, host SCAD third (453) and Emmanual fourth (381).
Christian Huber was the top finisher for the Tars on the final day. Huber took in third place in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 45.46, setting a new school record. Teammate Brady Spear finished 15th with a time of 47:93.
Elliot Wylie came in with a time of 1:52.56 in the 200 yard backstroke and won the B final by more than a second.
Luiggi Reno placed just outside the top ten with an 11th place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke and a time of 2:09.19.
Sophomore Asa Marvel finished 15th in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:57.95.
The Tars will be back next semester Saturday, January 5 hosting SCAD at Alfond Swimming Pool.
