Rollins Falls To SCAD

WINTER PARK, FLA. (January 5, 2019)- Rollins swimming wrapped up their first meet of the new year against NAIA No. 1 SCAD falling to the Yellow Jackets 183-78.

In the 200 yard Medley Relay Alex Norcini, Dan Sulkowski, Christian Huber, and Chase Benton finished in second place with a time of 1:37.54.

Alex Norcini finished strong in the 500 yard Freestyle with first place (4:48.65). He placed second in the 200 yard Freestyle (1:48.33) and fourth in the 200 yard IM (2:01.74).

Elliot Wylie earned two runner-up finishes in the 100 (55.72) and 200 Backstroke (1:59.95).

Luiggi Reno, runner-up in both the 100 yard Breastroke (1:02.75) and 200 yard Breaststroke (2:19.87).

Brady Spear was third in the 100 yard Breaststroke (1:04.59).

Asa Marvel had a solid 200 yard Butterfly placing third place (1:57.99) followed by teammate Dan Sulkowski in fourth place (2:04.41).

Chase Benton placed fourth in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 23.28 and Keegan Rose in fifth (23.77).

Christian Huber finished first place in the 100 yard Freestyle touching the wall in (47.26) while Brady Spear placed fifth (51.20) in same event.

Dan Sulkowski finished fourth place in the 200 yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:20.16.

In the 100 yard Butterfly Huber finished third with a time of 53.79. Asa Marvel placed fourth in (54.66).

The final event of the day was the 200 yard Freestyle Relay. Huber,  Spear, Marvel, and Sulkowski posted a runner-up finish stopping the clock in 1:27.72.

The Tars are back in the pool Friday, January 25 traveling to Florida Tech.
