Rollins Men Faster in Day 2 of NCAA Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 14, 2019) – Rollins freshman Christian Huber and sophomore Alex Norcini were back in the pool Thursday for day two of the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships.

Norcini started things off in the prelims of the 200-yard IM. The Lilburn, Georgia native posted a time of 3:59.40 and finished 26th in the event. His time was short of earning a spot in Thursday night's finals. 

Huber then took the pool for the prelims of the 200-yard freestyle. The German started strong and finished with a time of 1:40.16, placing 35th in the event and missing the finals.

The NCAA Championship continues through Saturday at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. Norcini will swim the 500-yard freestyle and 1650-yard freestyle while Huber still has the 100-yard freestyle on Saturday. Fans can catch the action live at NCAA.com.
