Rollins Posts Top Times in Day 2 of Panther Invite

MELBOURNE, FLA.(November 23, 2019)- Rollins men's swim team posted more great times in day 2. However, they still sit third after day two of the Florida Tech Panther Invitational. 

The Tars earned 181 points on the day; while Florida Southern leads the field with 282.5 points and host FT is second (224.5). 

Starting the evening, Alex Norcini, Connor Xu, Chase Benton and Christian Huber swam to a third place finish in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of (1:33.78).

Norcini finished runner-up in the 400-yard IM with a time of 3:59.16. While Connor Xu earned a third place finish in the 400-IM (4:04.08). 

Huber also finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of (1:41.55). Luggi Reno swam fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.05).

Elliot Wylie touched the wall for a third place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.45.

The Tars completed day 2 of the Panther Invitational on top in the 800-yard freestyle relay. Norcini, Xu, Asa Marvel and Huber raced to the wall in 7:39.82.
