2017-2018: Saw action in 20 singles matches and 19 doubles matches during his first year with the Tars… earned a 12-7 overall singles record, playing in each of the top three positions… tallied 2 wins over nationally ranked opposition, and a 4-2 record against regionally ranked foes… reached as high as No. 19 on the ITA National Singles Rankings… ended the season ranked No. 59 in the poll… went 8-11 in doubles play, seeing time on the first and third courts… went 8-8 in the first position with Nicolo De Fraia, picking up two wins over nationally ranked duos… peaked at No. 7 in the National Doubles Rankings, with De Fraia… finished the year ranked No. 22 in the National Doubles Poll, and No. 7 in the South Region… selected the SSC Player of the Week on March 12… named Honorable Mention All-SSC in singles play… named to both the Fall and Spring Athletic Director’s Honor Rolls... earned a spot on the Spring Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

Personal: Son of Jaime de Nicolas Gonzalez and Maria Paz Ruiz Tejedor... has one sister Beatriz de Nicolas Ruiz... majoring in international business... hopes to own his own business, or work as an interational representative of a major company... chose Rollins for teh utstanding education... enjoys all sports, but especcially soccer, also enjoys music festivals, playing in the piano, and surfing.
