The Tars are prepared for a second straight road match to open the 2018 campaign, this one with national implications around the Division II landscape.  The No. 16 Tars visit the No. 11 Flagler Saints in a top-20, South Region, showdown.

The Tars dropped their season opener to Division I Stetson on Saturday by a score of 6-1.  Rollins got a competitive showing from Atakan Gezer and Frederick Danielson in the third doubles position, while Nicolo De Fraia picked up Rollins' lone point in the top singles spot.

Guillermo De Nicolas-Ruiz is the highest ranked Tar in the ITA national rankings. Coming in at No. 19, Sami Kirberg still holds his spot in the South Region poll at No. 17.

De Fraia and Nicolas-Ruiz put up a battle in the number one doubles spot against Stetson.  The pair are ranked No. 8 in the South Region among doubles teams.

The Saints have faced off against a pair od Sunshine State Conference opponents so far in 2018.  Flagler defeated Florida Southern 8-1, but fell to No. 6 Lynn 7-2.

Lukas Storck headlines the Saints singles lineup, coming in at No. 38 in the ITA national rankings.  Felipe Carvalho remains undefeated through the Saints first two matches, playing out of the fifth spot.

Konstantin Dustmann partners up with Storck to form the Saints top doubles team.  The duo is 2-0 on the year, including a 9-7 win over the top team from No. 6 Lynn.

Rollins will take more than a week off from competition, before they host No. 6 Lynn in their SSC and home opener.  First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 17.
