SET-UP:
Rollins will continue their non-conference slate with a pair of matches this week.  The Tars are coming off an impressive shutout win over Division I Army, moving them to 2-0.  Now Rollins turns its attention to Division III Bates, and Mid West Region foe Davenport.  Bates has yet to play a match in 2019, but was tabbed as the No. 24 team in Division III according to the ITA.  Davenport lost twice early, but have won two straight as they head to the Sunshine State for a string of contests.  The Tars will look to stay perfect as they prepare for the difficult road ahead. 

WHO TO WATCH:
Rollins:
The Tars have yet to lose a match this year, going a combined 12-0 in singles and 6-0 in doubles.  Nicolo De Fraia leads the Tars from the first position.  The No. 20 ranked player in the South Region, De Fraia has picked up a pair of straight set victories playing on the first court.  Guillermo De Nicolas-Ruiz has picked up two second position wins, including the match clincher against the Black Knights.  Ziad Melhaoui sits as the No. 21 singles player in the nation, and has gone 2-0 out of the third spot.  The Tars rotation is rounded out by Gai Feigin, Atakan Gezer, and Andrea Brignacca who are all 2-0.  In doubles play Feigin and Melhaoui for the No. 17 pairing in Division II and have seen the top position action for Rollins.  Frederick Danielson and De Fraia, and Gezer and Nicolas-Ruiz has filled in the second and third spots. 

Bates:
The Bobcats enter the 2019 campaign ranked No. 24 in Division III, and No. 7 in the Northeast Region.  Bates is coming off an 8-9 year, and a first round exit in their conference tournament.  The Bobcats lose senior Ben Rosen from last year's squad, but return his doubles partner Jacob Kauppila, who joined Rosen as a First Team All-NESCAC Doubles honoree last year.  Peter Wernink will look to star for Bates.  The highly touted freshman opens the year as the No. 45 ranked singles player in Division II according to the ITA. 

Davenport:
The Panthers have defeated Aquinas College and Indiana Wesleyan in their last wo matches to even their record at 2-2.  The gtars are the first on five opponents Davenport will play while in Florida, with all matches happening at the USTA National Campus.  Remy Johansen has seen all the first position action for the Panthers while Matthew McClurg is 3-1 in the second spot.  J.L. van Antwerpen is undefeated in the third position, and enters the contest ranked as the No. 10 singles player in the Midwest.  Jonathan Bulmer is also 4-0 on the year, playing out of the fourth spot, and ranked No. 20 in the region.  The Panthers are a combined 7-5 in doubles action, with the pair of Bulmer and McClurg going 2-0 in the top position.
