Rollins Continues to Climb ITA Ranks

TEMPE, Ariz. (March27, 2019) – The Tars continue to climb the National Rankings, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced today.  Rollins jumped from No. 15 to No. 12 in the latest poll. 

The Tars picked up shutout wins against Florida National and Sunshine State Conference foe Florida Tech last week, improving to 12-2 overall, and 1-1 in SSC action.

The Tars are led by Nicolo De Fraia who is 13-0 in top position singles action this season.  Guillermo De Nicolas-Ruiz has also contributed with an 11-2 record in the second spot, and a No. 72 National Singles Ranking.

The Tars had to move a conference match against No. 40 Embry-Riddle to Thursday, March 28, after inclement weather hit Winter Park.  Rollins will then face Barry, who held onto the No. 1 spot in the newest rankings.
