Rollins Fourth at Rescheduled Florida Tech Invitational

MELBOURNE, Fla. (October 12, 2017) – Rollins closed its regular season Thursday night at the Florida Tech Invitational. The meet was originally slated for earlier in the year, but was postponed due to Hurricane Irma.


The Tars finished fourth in the meet with a score of 96. Host FIT won (24), followed by Flagler (40) and Embry-Riddle (64).

Jack Williams led the way, finishing 19th in a time of 20:14 over the 5k course. Robinson Koger took 20th in a time of 20:15 and Jonathon Tyler was 21st in 20:23.

Jack Gabriel finished 22nd (20:53) and Marcus Camacho was 24th with a time of 23:51.

Rollins will next compete at the 2017 Sunshine State Conference Championships on Saturday, October 21 in Boca Raton. Nova Southeastern will serve as host at South County Park with the men's race slated to begin at 7:45 p.m.
