BOCA RATON, Fla. (October 21, 2017) – The Rollins men's cross country team put a close on the 2017 season Saturday at the Sunshine State Conference Championship.


The Tars took eighth place at the championship, posting 252 points. Florida Southern won the team title with a score of 42, sneaking past Saint Leo (61) and third place Embry-Riddle (65).

Senior Jack Williams led the Tars with a 65th place finish, covering the 8K course in a time of 32:56. Robinson Koger was very strong in the final miles and placed 67th in a time of 32:56. Jack Gabriel was 68th in 33:36 and Jonathon Taylor clocked 34:17 and placed 71st. Marcus Camacho finished 77th.

The Sunshine State Conference Championship closes the Tars 2017 season.
