MELBOURNE, Fla. (May 3, 2018) – Junior outfielder Jordan Davis has been named Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference, league officials announced Thursday. The Winter Springs, Florida, native has made an immediate impact on the program, after transferring from Seminole State College.
Davis led the Tars in batting average, hitting .345 on the year. She scored a team best 26 runs, and tallied 57 hits, seventh most in the conference. She slapped two triples, tied for most on the squad. Her 33 stolen bases led the SSC and ranks her sixth on the Rollins all-time single season steals list.
The Tars finished the 2018 campaign with a record of 27-24, and 13-17 in SSC play. The Tars have now had 18 consecutive winning seasons. Rollins finished the year sixth in the conference.
