LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 25, 2019) – Tars' centerfielder Jordan Davis has been named to the 2019 Schutt Sports/NFCA Division II Player and Pitcher of the Year Top 25. The list will be narrowed down to ten names on May 14, with Player and Pitcher of the Year announced on May 30.

Davis currently lead the SSC, and sits 10th in the country, with a .487 batting average. The senior also leads the SSC in stolen bases, with 40, and is second in runs, with 35. She has been named SSC Player of the Week once. If the season ended today she would be tied for the Rollins single season record for batting average, and second in steals.
The list features players from 23 different schools and 18 different conferences. The Sunshine State Conference has two representatives, the other being Makaleigh Dooley from Tampa.
The Rollins Softball team returns to action on Friday, April 26, when they host Lynn in their final regular season series of 2019. The first pitch of game one against the Fighting Knights is scheduled for 6 p.m.
