Former standout guard Sarah Taylor ’15 returns to the Tars coaching staff for her second season in 2018-19. The Lake Mary, Florida native focuses on logistics and scouting while assisting Head Coach Glenn Wilkes Jr. on all aspects of the program.
Rollins enjoyed an incredible run with Taylor in uniform, highlighted with the Tars march to the NCAA Elite Eight as a freshman in 2012. Taylor’s teams won one SSC regular season title, two SSC Tournament Championships and earned bids to four-straight NCAA South Region Tournaments. Rollins posted a record of 97-29 in her career.
Taylor was a two-time All-Sunshine State Conference honoree, earning Second Team honors in 2015 and First Team in 2014. She ranks 16th on the Rollins all-time scoring list with 1,169 career points and 11th in rebounds with 683. Her 108 three-pointers is the 14th most in team history. Taylor holds the school record with 126 career games played.
Also a standout in the classroom, Taylor was a member of both the Sunshine State Conference and Rollins Commissioner’s Honor Roll each of her four years.
A Central Florida native, Taylor enjoyed a stellar career at Lake Mary High School, earning All-State honors three times and leading the Lady Rams to three-straight FHSAA 6A State Championship game appearances, winning it all in 2010.
