CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (October 14, 2017) – Rollins shot a second round 305 on Saturday to sit 17th heading into the last day of the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational.
The Tars are 25-over with rounds of 296-306.
Duke pulled away from the field with a record 271 on Saturday and is atop the leaderboard at 22-under with scores of 281-271. Alabama (564, -12) is second while South Carolina (565, -11) is third.
Rollins is the only non-Division I team in the field.
Seher Atwal continues to lead the way for the Tars and is tied for 54th at four-over (148). The sophomore opened with a 72 and shot 76 Saturday, which included three birdies on par-5's.
Senior Madison Lellyo is tied for 58th a shot back of Atwal, sitting five-over (149). She turned in an even-par 72 to open and fired a 77 on Saturday. She was one-over most of the day and also played the par-5's well, posting a birdie for on No. 3.
Lexie Toth is tied for 70th with a seven-over 151. The senior has rounds of 76-75 at the event. Sophie Faulkner is tied for 77th with 153 strokes (+9) after scores of 76-77. Selin Timur is tied for 90th, shooting rounds of 80-78 (158, +14).
