LUTZ, Fla. (October 30, 2017) – Senior Madison Lellyo is just a shot out of first and has Rollins in a tie for seventh after the first two rounds of the USF Intercollegiate at TPC Tampa Bay.
Rollins turned in scores of 321-305 to sit tied with Towson with 627 strokes. Lynn leads the field at 41-over (609) while Barry is 48-over (616) in second place. Georgetown (619, +51) is third while host USF and William & Mary are tied for fourth (624, +56). Florida Gulf Coast is just one stroke ahead of Rollins in sixth.
Lellyo started her day with a three-over 75, grabbing a pair of birdies during the morning round. She was a shot better in the second round, posting a two-over 74. The Orlando native is only one stroke back of Tilda Larson of Barry, Carolin Schart of Stetson and Natalia Villavicencio from USF.
Seher Atwal jumped 12 spots after a brilliant second round and is tied for 18th with a 13-over score of 155. She started the day with an 80, but came back with a 75 in the afternoon. Lexie Toth is tied for 25th with 157 strokes (+15), putting up rounds of 83 and 74.
