OSPREY, Fla. (April 7, 2018) – Seher Atwal is tied atop the leaderboard and has Rollins right in the mix for a title after day one of the Harvard Invitational.
The Crimson are hosting the event at The Oaks Club in Osprey, Florida.
Princeton leads the field at 29-over (605) after rounds of 301-304. Harvard is second at 34-over (610) with scores of 310-300 and Delaware is third at 39-over (309-306).
The fourth-place Tars shot an opening round 307 and were third after the first 18 holes and posted a 309 in the afternoon to sit at 40-over with a score of 616, jut 11 shots off the pace.
Atwal is tied for first with Princeton's Maya Walton, both at four-over for the tournament. The Tars sophomore posted matching rounds of 74 on Saturday. She was two-over after the first nine holes of the day and dropped two more strokes right after the turn. Atwal finished the round strong with birdies on two of the final three holes. Her second round started with a three-over front-nine and three birdies to just two bogeys on the back.
Madison Lellyo is tied for ninth with a solid seven over par, shooting 73-78. Lara van Staden is tied for 24th at 14-over with two rounds of 79 while Selin Timur is s shot back in a tie for 27th with rounds of 81-78.
Lexie Toth is tied for 47th place at 22-over, shooting scores of 84-82.
