CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (March 15, 2019) – Rollins women's golf landed in a tie for eighth in the latest Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division II Poll.

Dallas Baptist topped the ranking and split first place votes with No. 2 Barry. Nova Southeastern is No. 3 with UIndy and West Texas A&M rounding out the top-five. Rollins is tied with Lynn at No. 8 with Florida Tech at ten giving the Sunshine State Conference five teams in the top-10.

SSC foes Florida Southern is No. 12, Saint Leo No. 16 and Tampa No. 21.

The Tars are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational earlier in the week. Seher Atwal leads the team on the season with one victory, a pair of top-five finishes and three top-10s. The junior has a 73.24 stroke average on the season. Selin Timur is carrying a 76.65 average while Jennifer Jung has a 77.41 stroke average.

Rollins will next battle the nation's best at the Barry Buccaneer Invitational, March 30-31 in Miami Lakes.
