MELBOURNE, Fla. (April 26, 2019) – Junior superstar Seher Atwal earned her second First Team All-Sunshine State Conference honor, it was announced by Commissioner Ed Pasque Friday.
A native of Dehli, India, Atwal heads into the postseason as the fourth-ranked women's golfer in the nation by GolfStat. She leads the Tars with a 73.13 stroke average, having shot seven rounds of par or better this season.
In the last five events, Atwal has finished no worse than a tie for 11th and posted a win at the Florida Southern Lady Moc Classic. She was five-under for the tournament, leading off the event with a season-low 69. Atwal was also eighth at the Barry Invitational and tied for 11th at both the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational and SSC Championship.
Atwal will look to lead the 10th-ranked Tars into the postseason, playing the NCAA Division II Super Regional May 6-8 at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Tennessee.
