  • Giannerini Earns IWLCA All-American Second Team Honors

    Midfielder Marissa Giannerini caps off a stellar second season with the Tars by being named to the 2010 IWLCA All American Second Team, it was announced Wednesday. A total of 32 student-athletes from Division II were recognized on this year's 2010 All-American teams, with Giannerini picking up her second consecutive second team selection in her career.

    Midfielder Erica Pagliarulo has been named to the Womenslacrosse.com 2010 Division II All-Rookie Squad, it was announced Tuesday. The staff of Womenslacrosse.com also released All-American First and Second Teams, as well as recognized individual student-athletes and coaches, listing seven individual awards.

But Rollins (3-3) was unable to come out ahead as a goal from seventh-ranked University of New Haven's Sarah LaGoff with 32 seconds to go in OT pushed the Chargers (1-0) to a 16-15 victory over the Tars.
