  • Bianculli named Division II Defender of the Year

    The IWLCA has honored 12 student-athletes for their achievements during the 2013 season, as the organization named the Goalie, Defender, Midfielder, and Attacker of the Year for each of the three divisions. Rollins senior Courtney Bianculli was named the Division II Defender of the Year, it was announced on Sunday.

    No. 3 Rollins met No. 2 Limestone in the NCAA Women's Lacrosse National Semifinal on Saturday evening on the campus of Stevenson University. The Tars battled the Saints in a light drizzle all evening long in front of a crowd of over 1,400, much of them Rollins fans who made the trip North, but eventually fell in double overtime, 11-10.
