With one last game on tap for their 11-day road trip, the eighth-ranked Rollins women's lacrosse team is primed and ready to take on Catawba College in South Region action on Monday afternoon at Kirkland Field.  Game time against the Indians is slated for 2 p.m.  Fans who are unable to attend the game in person will be able to follow all of the action with live stats provided by Catawba College, with links available on

Holding onto an undefeated record of 8-0, the Rollins women's lacrosse team has put up 154 goals on 318 shots on goal so far this season.  The Tars are currently averaging 19.25 goals per game, and 39.75 shots per game, with a shots on goal percentage of .755.  Rollins has only 57 goals against, for a goals against average of just 7.13, and 56 saves with a save percentage of .496.  After eight games played, Hannah Ashton and Kallie German lead the team with 26 goals on the season, followed closely by Paige Brock with 21.  German has amassed a team best 17 assists for a team leading 43 points.  Lily Rizk has earned 15 ground balls, followed by Gabby Tanner with 12, and Caroline Gastonguay and Rachel Valocchi with 10 apiece.  Leading the team in ground balls and caused turnovers is senior Lindsay Van Beck with 42 and eight, respectively.  In goal, Tanner has spent a total of 375:10 minutes between the pipes, earning 52 saves and posting a save percentage of .531 while allowing just 46 goals for a goals against average of 7.36.

Holding onto a record of 3-4, the Catawba women's lacrosse team is riding a one game win streak after most recently defeating Coker by a final score of 18-8 on Saturday, March 16.  After seven games played, the Indians have put up 67 goals on 158 shots and 116 shots on goal so far this season.  The Indians are currently averaging 9.57 goals per game, and 22.6 shots per game, with a shots on goal percentage of .734.  Catawba has 99 goals against, for a goals against average of just 14.14, and 73 saves so far.  Brooklyn Tilley leads the team in goals and points as she has tallied 13 goals and four assists for 17 points so far this season.  Gianna Pezzulo leads the team in assists with eight, and had added five goals for 13 points.  Colleen Green has earned nine goals and added two assists for 11 points.  Aryn Dorr has earned a team best 18 ground balls in seven games played, while Katie Barth has won a team-leading 12 draw controls, followed by Tilley and Caleigh Kenna-Shadrick with 11 apiece.  In goal, Dorr has seen the most time, playing 355:58 minutes between the pipes.  Dorr has faced 181 shots, earning 67 saves while allowing 86 goals for a goals against average of 14.50 and a save percentage of .438.

  • The Tars' best undefeated run was in 2012, where they went 15-0 before falling to Regis in regular season action, 14-13.  That year, Rollins advanced to the NCAA Tournament Semifinals, where they fell to West Chester by a score of 19-10.
  • The Tars' second best undefeated run was a 9-0 record in 2016.  The Tars eventually matched up against West Chester in the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals, defeating the Rams 9-8 to advance to the Semifinals where they fell to Florida Southern by a score of 8-5.

The Tars return to action on Saturday, March 30, when they open up Sunshine State Conference play on the road at Palm Beach Atlantic.  Game time against the Sailfish is set for 5:00 p.m. Fans who are unable to attend the game will be able to follow all of the action live on the Tars Sports Network as well as the Sunshine State Conference Digital Network, as well as with live stats on
