SET-UP:
Coming off of their first loss of the season to No. 8 Florida Southern on Wednesday afternoon, the second-ranked Rollins women's lacrosse team looks to bounce back against the Florida Tech Panthers on Saturday evening at Cahall-Sandspur Field.  Game time against FIT is set for 7:30 p.m.  Fans who are unable to support the Tars in person will be able to follow all of the action live on the Tars Sports Network, as well as with live stats on TarsStats.com.

TRACKING THE TARS:
The Tars checked in at No. 2 on this week's IWLCA DII Poll, matching a program best for national ranking in the history of the program, and received the nod at No. 3 on the NIKE/US Lacrosse DII Top 20.  After 11 games played this season, the Tars have scored 209 goals, averaging 19.00 per game, while earning 87 assists.  The Tars are averaging 38.82 shots per game, and own a shot percentage of .489 as a team. 

Senior Kallie German leads the team in goals, assists, and overall points, as she has scored 36 times while dishing out 26 assists for 62 points overall.  Hannah Ashton follows with 33 goals of her own, followed by Paige Brock with 23.  Behind German's 22 assists, freshman Caroline Gastonguay has notched 14 while adding 12 goals.  Leading the team in ground balls is Lily Rizk with 20, followed by Gabby Tanner with 17, Gastonguay with 13, and Lindsay Van Beck and Hannah Coakley with 11 apiece.  Van Beck has amassed a team-leading 51 draw controls and also leads the Tars in caused turnovers with 12.  Maggie Dougherty is another force off the draw, winning 35 so far this year, along with Taylor Kienle, who has won 27.  In goal, Tanner has played 508:43 minutes, earning 69 saves while allowing 67 goals.  Tanner enters into Saturday's game with a save percentage of .507, and a goals against average of just 7.90.

TRACKING THE PANTHERS:
With a record of 5-6 and 0-2 in SSC action, Florida Tech enters into Saturday night's contest riding a three game losing streak.  After 11 games played this season, the Panthers have put up 126 goals and 47 assists, averaging 26.4 shots per game and a shot percentage of .434.  FIT currently sits in last place in conference standings, tied with Palm Beach Atlantic, who also owns a conference mark of 0-2.

After 11 games played, FIT is led by Sam Schiano with 32 goals, followed by Leah Dunn with 27, and Mollie Kaplan with 24.  Alexis Townsend leads the Panthers in assists with 15, while Dunn has earned 10.  Schiano leads the team in ground balls with 25, followed closely by Brittney Embree and Olivia Going with 24 apiece.  Schiano also leads the team I draw controls with 54, while Mollie Kaplan has won 40.  Both Embree and Schiano have amassed a team best 27 caused turnovers.  In goal for the Panthers, Chloe Zador has played a total of 614:17 minutes, facing 245 shots in her time in cage.  Zador has earned 68 saves while allowing 116 goals, good for a save percentage of .370 and a goals against average of 11.33.
