SET-UP:
Welcoming Tampa to Cahall-Sandspur Field for the second time this season, the fifth-ranked Rollins women's lacrosse team will mark a program first on Wednesday night when they take on an opponent ranked in the same position as themselves. The Spartans, who also received the nod at No. 5 on this week's IWLCA poll, make the trek back to Winter Park for the second time this season, owning a record of 9-2 and 2-0 in Sunshine State Conference play.  Rollins, having lost just one game this season, holds onto a record of 11-1, and 2-1 in SSC action.  Game time against UT is set for 7:30 p.m.  Fans who are unable to support the Tars in person will be able to follow all of the action live on the Tars Sports Network, as well as with live stats on TarsStats.com.

TRACKING THE TARS:
The Tars checked in at No. 5 on both the IWLCA Poll and US Lacrosse Top 20, owning a record of 11-1, and 2-1 against SSC opponents.  After 12 games played this season, the Tars have scored 218 goals, averaging 18.17 per game, while earning 89 assists.  The Tars are averaging 38.50 shots per game, and own a shot percentage of .472 as a team. 

Senior Kallie German leads the team in goals, assists, and overall points, as she has scored 39 times while dishing out 26 assists for 65 points overall.  Hannah Ashton follows with 36 goals of her own, followed by Paige Brock with 23.  Behind German's 22 assists, freshman Caroline Gastonguay has notched 14 while adding 12 goals.  Lily Rizk and Gabby Tanner have tallied 21 ground balls to lead the team, followed by Gastonguay with 14, and Lindsay Van Beck with 13.  Van Beck has notched a team high 53 draw controls, followed by Maggie Dougherty with 38, and Taylor Kienle with 28.  Van Beck also heads up the team in caused turnovers with 14.  In goal, Gabby Tanner has played a total of 568:43 minutes, earning 77 saves while allowing 74 goals.  Tanner boast a save percentage of .510 so far this season, and averages just 7.81 goals against per game.

TRACKING THE SPARTANS:
With a record of 9-2 and 2-0 in SSC action, Tampa checked in at No. 5 on the IWLCA Poll, and No. 6 on the US Lacrosse Top 20 this week.  Riding a six game winning streak, the Spartans find themselves at the top of the conference standings as the only undefeated team remaining in SSC play.  After 11 games, the Spartans have put up 187 goals off of 84 assists, averaging 17.00 goals per game, 35.73 shots per game, and holding onto a shot percentage of .476.

The Spartans are led by Carly Vaccaro with 35 goals, followed by Claire Swanson with 28, and Caroline Forester with 27.  Rachel Crawford owns a team high 25 assists, followed by Kristyn Staley with 16.  Bridget Sutter has earned a team high 42 ground balls, followed by Swanson with 27.  Swanson leads the team in draw controls with 88, averaging eight per contest, and also leads the team in caused turnovers with 18.  Bridget Sutter has seen the most time in goal, playing 549:54 minutes so far this season.  Sutter has earned 104 saves while allowing 97 goals, for a save percentage of .517 and a goals against average of 10.58.
