SET-UP:
Coming off of a big 18-10 win over No. 5 Tampa on Wednesday evening, the fifth-ranked Rollins women's lacrosse team is set to head to the rolling hills of Pasco County to take on the Lions of Saint Leo University on Saturday morning.  Saint Leo, who enters into Saturday's contest after losing their first game of the season in a 15-6 loss to No. 7 Florida Southern, checks in at No. 21 on the IWLCA DII Poll, and No. 9 on the NIKE/US Lacrosse DII Top 20 this week.  Game time between the Tars and Lions is set for 11:00 a.m. at University Turf Stadium on the campus of Saint Leo University.  Fans who are unable to support the Tars in person will be able to follow all of the action live on the Tars Sports Network, as well as with live stats on TarsStats.com.

TRACKING THE TARS:
The Tars checked in at No. 5 on both the IWLCA Poll and US Lacrosse Top 20, owning a record of 12-1, and 3-1 against SSC opponents.  Rollins enters into Saturday's game after an 18-10 victory over No. 5 Tampa on Wednesday evening, marking their second straight win.  After 13 games played this season, the Tars have scored 236 goals, averaging 18.15 per game, while earning 100 assists.  The Tars are averaging 37.92 shots per game, and own a shot percentage of .479 as a team. 

Senior Kallie German leads the team in goals, assists, and overall points, as she has scored 4 times while dishing out 32 assists for 76 points overall.  Hannah Ashton follows with 41 goals of her own, followed by Paige Brock with 25.  Behind German's 32 assists, freshman Caroline Gastonguay has notched 15 while adding 13 goals.  Gabby Tanner leads the team in ground balls with 26, followed by Lily Rizk with 23, and Gastonguay and Lindsay Van Beck with 13 apiece.  Van Beck has notched a team high 55 draw controls, followed by Maggie Dougherty with 48, and Taylor Kienle with 31.  Van Beck also heads up the team in caused turnovers with 16.  In goal, Tanner has played a total of 628:43 minutes, earning 82 saves while allowing 84 goals.  Tanner boast a save percentage of .494 so far this season, and averages just 8.02 goals against per game.

TRACKING THE LIONS:
With a record of 13-1 and 2-1 in Sunshine State Conference play, the Saint Leo Lions checked in at No. 21 on the IWLCA DII Poll, and No. 9 on the NIKE/US Lacrosse Top 20 this week.  Saint Leo is coming off of their first loss of the season, a 15-6 shortfall to No. 7 Florida Southern on Tuesday evening, marking the first time the Lions have faced a nationally-ranked opponent this season.  After 14 games played, Saint Leo has put up 252 goals and 81 assists, averaging 18 goals per game, 35.8 shots per game, and holding onto a shot percentage of .503.

Leading the way for the Lions is Leslie Ferguson with 47 goals, followed by Janee DeLuca with 41, and Lexie Walstad with 36.  Kaylah Walstad leads the team in assists with 19, while DeLuca has earned 17, and Ferguson has dished out 16. Delaney Chrisco has earned a team high 47 ground balls, followed by Ferguson with 46, and Ashley Salvett with 40. Chrisco also leads the team in caused turnovers with 28, while Salvett follows with 26.  Salvett has earned a team best 46 draw controls, while Chrisco has amassed 43.  In goal, Erin Davis has played in 13 games, earning 10 starts, while seeing a total of 515:45 minutes between the pipes.  Davis has faced 188 shots, earning 108 saves while allowing 108 goals against, holding onto a save percentage of .500 and a goals against average of 7.50.
